Brent Barootes

Brent Barootes is President and CEO of the Partnership Group – Sponsorship Specialists®, a Calgary based national sponsorship consulting firm. Brent has worked directly or indirectly with many Canadian charities, non-profits, member associations, brands, corporations, small and medium businesses as well as municipalities, provincial governments, professional and amateur sport organizations to develop effective sponsorship programs. His background in pro-sports sponsorship as well as being a Director of Development for a national charity allows him to see the sponsorship world from all sides. He has been part of buying and selling sponsorships for almost 30 years! Brent is also the author of Canada’s #1 book on sponsorship - Reality Check – Straight Talk About Sponsorship Marketing. Brent lives in Nanaimo with his wife and 12-year-old daughter.
