Bronwen Dearlove

Bronwen dove into the fundraising profession in 1999 and has never looked back. Currently the National Arts Centre Foundation’s Senior Development Officer, Annual Fund and Database, her long curiosity with fundraisers’ countless different career pathways led her around nonprofit sector’s Trivial Pursuit board collecting pies in annual fund strategies, special events, major gifts, campaign management, planned giving, team leadership, and executive search.

Most at home in the arts and culture sector, Bronwen has had the privilege of working with amazing people with the Edmonton Symphony, Opera Lyra Ottawa, the National Gallery of Canada, the Canadian War Museum, the Canadian Museum of History, and KCI.

Having served on the AFP Ottawa Chapter’s board since 2011, Bronwen joined the board of the AFP Foundation for Philanthropy – Canada in July 2016. She is a former board member for Big Brothers Big Sisters Ottawa and the Ottawa RoundTable of the Canadian Association of Gift Planners.

Bronwen holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Queen’s University, and achieved her CFRE designation in 2006. Fun fact: in 1993, she was one of the first 22 women ever to march in the Fort Henry Guard Drum Corps.
