Derek delouche

Derek has devoted his career to making positive change in the world in the area of children, youth and animal welfare. At Humane Canada he introduced the first national awards recognizing examples of good things happening in animal welfare across Canada and introduced a Women's Leadership Giving Circle that has grown by 25% a year since it started. At Humane Canada and United Way Ottawa he changed the culture to make business development key to the future growth revising corporate partnership strategies to increase engagement and funding. He is a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE), a Certified Administration Executive (CAE) and is a past President of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), Ottawa Chapter. He has received multiple awards during his professional career and he has volunteered for a number of organizations.
