Judy Neiser
Judy joined the Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation in May 2013, in the role of Strategic Relations Manager, and in July was quickly promoted to lead the organization as their CEO. Spirit of the North defines rural healthcare delivery and represents 290,000 patient spanned across 600,000 sq. km. or roughly an area the size of the country of France.
As a true northerner she spent over 20 years in the forestry and solid wood sector followed by a brief period with the Northern Health Authority before finding her passion in the Not For Profit sector as the Executive Director for the local Community Foundation, which she held from 2008 to 2013. She is a recent alumni of the Ivey School of Business and was named one of 44 leaders in the Not For Profit Sector across Canada at the 2015 Community Shift in London, Ontario and has an extensive background in administration and finance. In her spare time she coaches business students at UNBC about the charitable sector and how it applies to any business.
She is the fourth generation of her family to live and raise her family in Prince George, has strong roots in the north and is committed to working on behalf of donors and towards the best healthcare system as close to home as possible in the North.
