Kate Fischer

Kate Fischer brings more than 10 years’ experience in governance, securities, corporate and commercial law, in Canada and abroad.  Kate is currently Senior Corporate Counsel for AltaGas Ltd.  Before her career at AltaGas, she was legal counsel at a Calgary-based international E&P company, and an associate at Osler, Hoskin & Harcourt LLP’s Calgary office, and Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP in New York. 

Kate is a dedicated Calgarian who lends her time to charitable and community initiatives, including serving as a Co-Chair to the Calgary Health Trust's Newborns Need campaign, and prior service on the boards of the YWCA of Calgary and Contemporary Calgary.
