Michelle Regel

Michelle is the Director of Development at TELUS Spark. She has worked in the charitable sector since 1995 in both international and grassroots organizations in the areas of health, education, and social services. Michelle has a strong fundraising track record in major gifts, planned giving, sponsorship, and capital campaigns. She served the sector as a consultant for over a decade, specializing in strategic fund development planning, audits, feasibility studies, prospect research, and recruitment.  

Michelle is a member of AFP, CAGP, APRA, and SMCC. She has a B.A. in Communications Studies and English and a Certificate in Entrepreneurship. She has held the CFRE designation since 2003, and is working towards a blue belt certification in Innovation Engineering. She is a former 4H Project Leader and CAGP Board Director, and currently serves as the Board Secretary for the AFP Calgary & Area Chapter.
