Sharron Batsch
Sharron's background with charities started in 1987 when she developed the first version of @EASE Fund Development Software This donor database is sold across Canada and in the USA, supporting charities with donations of over $70,000,000 annually.
She taught at both SAIT and NAIT in their computer technology programs. Sharron is an experienced presenter, and developed 200 seminars and short courses and a certificate program related to microcomputers for the University of Manitoba’s Continuing Education
She has chaired conferences, run workshops, and worked on capital campaigns. Sharron graduated with a B.Sc. in Math and Computing Science.
She received awards from the Consulting Engineers of Canada in 2001 and the Consulting Engineers of Alberta in 2002 for work in Knowledge Management developed for AD Williams Engineering.
She offers courses on Data Mining, Special Events etc to @EASE clients and others.
She has presented at conferences for the University of Manitoba, Petro-Canada, and the Canadian Institute and Association of Healthcare Philanthropy.
She is a prolific writer contributing articles to Charity eNews and in 2013 published her first book From Chaos to Control: Build a High Performance Team using Knowledge Management.
Her down time is spent gardening and her garden has been featured in national and provincial magazines and newspapers. She tells us that “can’t” is not part of her vocabulary but “how” is.
