Steve Baker

Born and raised in Edmonton, Steve joined TELUS World of Science – Edmonton (TWOSE) in 2002 where he has been the Chief Operating Officer since 2010. In this role he oversees various aspects of TWOSE operations including the digital IMAX Theatre, Fund Development, IT and the organizations $40 million renovation and expansion initiative, the “Aurora Project”. 

Steve is currently the President of the Board of Directors of the Canadian Association of Science Centres and has held various positions on a regional, national and international level Boards for organizations representing areas of sport, healthcare and fund development.  

Steve attended the University of Alberta where he graduated with an MBA.
