Join us for a reprise of our Fundraising Ask Anything Zoom events. We started Season 1 with a general conversation among friends and colleagues last April. These events proved immensely popular and we ended up doing eight in total. On October 16, we launched the new season with our session titled: Pandemic +7: The Check-in. Recently, we did our second session: The Giving Season: The Digital Edition. We will be concluding our season with a drop-in video call on December 18. - Vancouver family heading to court in $1.5M inheritance fight with SPCA (CBC) VANCOUVER STORY "A Vancouver family is headed to court to contest almost $1.5 million the SPCA stands to gain in the estate settlement of a deceased relative. According to Gina Hancock, her great aunt Eleena Murray's will written in 2003 granted the B.C. SPCA the residue of her estate, putting it in line to receive $1.46 million, or about 80 per cent of the $2 million estate."

"The John Wayne Cancer Institute at Providence Saint John’s Health Center in Santa Monica has received its largest donation to date. The Rosalie and Harold Brown Charitable Foundation for immunotherapy and genomic cancer research has donated $8 million to the institute."
