Sentry donation funds UWSP data major The Sentry Insurance Foundation made a $4 million dollar donation to the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. The gift will fund a data analytics major starting in the fall."The availability of data has been growing exponentially in virtually all aspects of life, definitely in business and certainly in the insurance business," McPartland said. Large Donation Spearheads Construction of New Community Center Dr. Daniel Alexander, President and CEO of the Finger Lakes Bone and Joint Center, and his wife Gail have made a $1 million gift the Seneca Babcock Community Center. Buckingham University boosted by £5m donation Lord Vinson, entreprenuer and co-founder of the Centre for Policy Studies, has donated the money jointly to the University and the Institute of Economic Affairs. The gift will go towards building The Vinson Centre for the Study of Liberal Economics, and he hopes it will widen the understanding of the constitution of liberty. (3/8/16)
Vinik makes multi-million donation to Boys & Girls Club Tampa Bay Lightning owners Jeff and Penny Vinik made a $2.5 million gift; it's the largest individual gift in the Tampa Bay Boys and Girls Club's 90-year history. (3/7/16)
