University of Findlay Receives 1 Million Dollar Donation The TLB Foundation made a million dollar gift to the university to aid in construction of the new student life center and provide more scholarships for students demonstrating Christian values and leadership. The University of Findlay is located in Findlay, Ohio. (9/21/16)
School receives $2M donation The University of Manitoba has received this gift from Gail Asper and Michael Paterson. The gift will be used to support the Tache Arts Project, "which hopes to transform one of the school's most recognizable buildings into a home for art, music, and theatre programs." Rural community foundation receives 'game-changing' gift, its largest ever The Manistee County Community Foundation of Manistee, Michigan has received a $1 million gift from an anonymous donor. (9/18/16)
Mormon Church Donates $2 Million to Charities Assisting Refugees The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has a long history of humanitarian work with refugees. This gift was given to the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) and the International Rescue Committee (IRC). (9/18/16)
